- Installation of solar PV systems - This fact sheet outlines for home owners the process for ensuring solar PV systems are correctly installed and inspected, and what the home owner can do if something goes wrong.
- Enhanced energy efficiency requirements - From 1 May 2010, all new houses must be built to a six-star energy efficiency rating (or equivalent) and all apartments must have an average rating of six-stars (or equivalent).
- Insulation warning - Homeowners should ensure that anyone who installs loose-fill or batt-type insulation in their home is fully aware that the fire safety of recessed lights is not jeopardised.
