Building work cost guide
An application for building approval must contain an estimate of the cost of work. This estimate must be determined in accordance with an instrument that has been signed by the Construction Occupations Registrar under Building (General) Regulation 2008.
The instrument, Building (General) (Cost of Building Work) Determination 2011 (No 1) can be found on the Legislation Register. It takes effect from 1 July 2011 and must be used to calculate building levy amounts for building applications.
