You have come to the ACT Planning and Land Authority (ACTPLA). ACTPLA is now part of the Environment and Sustainable Development Directorate. The new Directorate unites ACTPLA with environmental policy and protection, sustainability policy, the Government architect, heritage, transport planning and nature conservation. A new Directorate website is under construction.

The following technical amendments for the uplift of future urban areas and amendments to suburb precinct codes commenced on Saturday 28 January 2012.

The following variations to the Territory Plan commenced Friday 16 December 2011: variation 300–Gungahlin Town Centre, variation 310–removal of development restrictions over parts of Inner North Canberra, technical amendments 2011-31 and 2011-39 and procedural technical amendments 2011-34 Bonner (6) and 2011-42 Macgregor (3).
