Want to upload documents, but the “Upload” button is disabled
For DA, this usually means the application is in the incorrect status. The only time you can upload documents is when the application status is Waiting for Documents or waiting for further information. If this is the case, contact the customer services team on 62071923 for further assistance.
Error message when uploading
Please contact customer services team on 62071923
Cannot find an application listed on your active applications?
For DA only:
Verify the status of the DA. If the status is completed, perform a search on the application using either by application number or location.
For DA and BA:
Verify you are logged in under the account the parent application/project was created under. For example if the application/project was created under your individual account but you have logged in under a company account, you will need to log out and log back in under you individual account in order to access the application/project. Perform a search on the application/project using the DA/BA project number: If this does not resolve the issue; contact the customer services team 62071923
Tips for lodging a development application
Naming conventions
There is no requirement to use ACTPLA's naming conventions when loading documents. Name the documents in a way that makes sense to you and upload them against the correct document type. eDevelopment will automatically rename them for you. The 25 character free-text field still exists to allow specific naming of your choice.
Draft, save, and submit
When you resume a saved Development Application, please check street address in site details and ensure all parts of eDevelopment wizard are complete before submitting the application wizard. The draft is created when you select the "Save" button on the Development Application wizard. You can move to different sections in the wizard by clicking on any of the form "Steps" that are listed on the left hand side of the screen. If new wizard content is added after you have saved your draft (e.g. new questions), you may be required to provide additional information on the wizard before you can submit.
File Size
Maximum file size is 20mb for document and do not upload zip files. More than 20mb files you need split the document and upload separately.
Request Access to application
If you are not the original applicant for a DA and wants to submit an amendment or more documents, request access to that application by clicking request access to application icon on the left side of the development application page. Please upload letter of appointment with the request.
Tips for lodging a building approval
