Neighbourhood planning is about enhancing the quality of life of a neighbourhood and its social, environmental and economic sustainability. It is based on partnerships and collaboration between the ACT Government and those who live, work, learn, play and invest in a neighbourhood.
A neighbourhood plan is a document that provides a future direction for a neighbourhood and the strategies required to create that future.
The Dickson Plan was published in 2003.
