The ACT Government proposes to expand the existing landfill facility at Mugga Lane which is expected to reach capacity by 2015–2016. The proposed landfill expansion onto the adjacent Jerrabomberra Block 2247 will accommodate waste proposal needs of the ACT community over the next 30 years.
