New survey plan layer in ACTMAPi
ACTPLA hold a large number of Miscellaneous Survey (MS) plans. Although these plans are not used for the creation of title, the information shown may provide surveyors and others valuable evidence for the re-establishment of boundaries.
A charting layer of these survey plans is available in ACTMAPi under the Survey Infrastructure mapping layer, and should be used by surveyors when searching for cadastral information.
How to use the cadastral layers
Like most information in ACTMAPi, the Cadastral Investigation Plans charting layer is scale dependent and can be viewed from a scale of 1:250,000 and larger.
To view the charting layer, go to the legend within ACTMAPi. Tick the default setting for the Cadastral Investigation Plans, which is beneath Advanced Maps. Expand the sub-menu by clicking on the word Cadastral Investigation Plans to select the various plan types you wish to be displayed.
Information about each type of plan can be found in the Surveyor-General's Guideline 7 – Cadastral Plan Types
