Our DA performance
ACTPLA assesses and decides many hundreds of development applications every year. For example, in 2008–09 ACTPLA assessed more than 2400 applications. The number of applications has dropped as a result of changes to the planning system which mean many developments no longer need development applications (exempt development).
ACTPLA is now releasing development assessment statistics that include the number of development applications lodged, the number decided and statistics on decisions against statutory timeframes.
