Making a complaint
You may make a complaint to ACTPLA if you believe:
- a construction occupation licensee or former licensee is contravening or has contravened the Construction Occupation (Licensing) Act 2004, or an operational Act or
- a person is conducting or has conducted a controlled activity on their lease.

Complaints must be lodged in writing unless the activity being undertaken is an immediate threat to public health and safety
Investigations and actions
ACTPLA must take reasonable steps to investigate each complaint. It may use information found during an investigation of a complaint in deciding whether to make a controlled activity order.
