Lease conveyancing request

Make a lease conveyance request

Lease conveyancing requests are often required when buying and selling a house.

Make a request

Lease conveyance requests can be made by submitting a lease conveyancing enquiry form electronically. Lodgement and payment with this form is via Canberra Connect. Payments are made using secure SSL encryption of the information provided.

If you are an account holder with the Authority, the conveyance request can also be lodged by fax to (02) 6207 1925. If you require information about setting up an account, please contact us.

Alternatively you can visit the Customer Services Centre, Ground Floor, Dame Pattie Menzies House, 16 Challis Street, Dickson.

When submitting a lease conveyance request you will need to have details of your suburb, section and block (and unit number, if applicable). This information is available on ACTMAPi.

Receiving the documents

Conveyance requests typically take two to four working days to complete. A 24-hour priority service is available for an additional fee. If you submit your conveyance request electronically, the time taken to complete the request may be substantially reduced.

If you have submitted your request by mail or through our Customer Service Centre, your report will be returned to you by mail, unless some other means is requested. Requests submitted by fax will be returned by fax. Requests submitted via the online service will be returned by email.
