Community briefing
A community briefing was held on Thursday 27 August 2009. This briefing was open to lessees, business owners, local residents, community organisations, and anyone with an interest in the centre. Over 120 people attended.
At the briefing:
- the project and proposed approach were discussed
- existing research was outlined
- people were invited to join a community reference group
- the role of the community reference group was discussed.
