Planning workshop
A planning workshop was held on Thursday 22 October 2009. The workshop was open to lessees, business owners, local residents, community organisations and anyone with an interest in the centre. Over 50 people attended.
The workshop saw groups of eight to ten people first undertake an exercise in which they identified what they would do to improve the centre. Next a two design options were presented to the community. Option 1 can be found here and Option 2 can be found here. These options were developed by the project team in light of the discussions held in the early community consultations. The workshop attendees were then asked to critique the options.
