Construction occupation services feedback

Comment on services provided by construction occupation professionals

We value your feedback and would like to hear if you are happy with the service you have received from ACT licensed and accredited construction occupation professionals or if you are concerned about their service and want to make a complaint.

Provide feedback

You can comment on services provided by builders, certifiers, electricians, gasfitters, gas workers, plumbers and drainers by completing our feedback form.

What happens to your feedback

All feedback is noted and complaints about a licensee or former licensee will be reasonably investigated. This includes requiring further information from the person making the complaint to verify all or part of the allegation by statutory declaration or obtaining an expert’s inspection report. The person making the complaint pays any costs incurred in obtaining more information.

Further action will not be taken if a complaint lacks substance, is frivolous, vexatious, not in good faith, or has been adequately dealt with. Complaints that are withdrawn may continue to be acted on if appropriate.

If the complaint is justified, the Construction Occupations Registrar, who is an officer of the ACT Planning and Land Authority, may issue the construction professional a disciplinary notice, if a disciplinary ground exists, and advise you of the outcome of investigation.
