Utility performance feedback
Provide feedback about a utility’s performance
You can provide feedback about an ACT utility's performance to alert us as to how it is meeting its technical regulation obligations and help us monitor its compliance.
Be aware that:
- the Authority's jurisdiction with respect to the Utilities Act 2000 is limited to considering compliance with the technical regulation obligations;
- if you have a complaint about your treatment by a utility, you should firstly contact the utility; and
- the Authority does not provide a complaint resolution service for any personal complaints you have about a utility's charges or levels of service.
Current issues
ACTPLA conducted a focused consultation of the technical regulation regime on areas of potential reform.
Other feedback and regulation
Contact the other agencies that regulate utilities if your feedback relates to matters which they deal with.
What happens to your feedback
Your feedback will help us to monitor utilities' compliance and improve utility performance. Your identity will not be revealed to the utility or to any other agency. We may contact you only if you have provided your contact details and if there is a need to clarify any aspect of your report.
