Utility performance feedback
You can provide feedback about an ACT utility's performance to alert us as to how it is meeting its technical regulation obligations and help us monitor its compliance.
Be aware that:
- ACTPLA's jurisdiction with respect to the Utilities Act 2000 involves monitoring and reinforcing compliance with the technical regulation requirements.
- If you have a complaint about your treatment by a utility, you should first contact the utility.
- If you have contacted the utility and are not satisfied with the coutcome, you can make a complaint to ACAT.
- If you have a concern about the performance of a utility in meeting any of its technical regulation requirements, ACTPLA is interested in your feedback.
Other agencies and utilities regulation feedback
Contact the other agencies that regulate utilities if your feedback relates to matters which they deal with.
What happens to your feedback
Your feedback will help us to monitor utilities' compliance and improve utility performance. Your identity will not be revealed to the utility. We may contact you only if you have provided your contact details and if there is a need to clarify any aspect of your feedback.
